What Airparser is

A parsing tool that extracts structured data from messy input. Emails, attachments and PDFs go in, JSON with the fields you defined comes out, ready for a CRM, a spreadsheet or an internal system.

It uses language models rather than fixed templates, which is why it copes with documents whose layout changes between senders.

What you can do with it

  • Pull order, invoice and contact fields out of inbound mail and attachments
  • Convert PDFs and scans into structured JSON
  • Clean and enrich results with post-processing
  • Send results onward through webhooks or the API

Who it is for

  • Finance, operations, recruitment, logistics and e-commerce teams
  • Anyone keying data in by hand from documents that arrive in inconsistent formats

What to watch out for

  • Parsing is not verification: sample amounts, identity fields and contract clauses against validation rules before they reach systems of record
  • Very poor scans and loosely defined fields degrade results, so invest in clear field definitions
  • Documents often contain personal data, so review retention and processing terms first

Pros & cons

✓ What we like

  • Handles inconsistent layouts better than template parsing
  • Works on email bodies and attachments, not only files
  • Post-processing and API make it automation-ready
  • Broad set of documented use cases

! What to watch out for

  • Extracted values still need sampling and validation
  • Poor scans and vague field definitions hurt accuracy
