Actimate

Tasks, habits and calendar with an AI partner that checks in on you

Visit official site

What Actimate is

A productivity system for people who plan well and then stall. Goals, habits, tasks and a calendar live in one place, and an AI partner called Pia checks in at set times, notices when something has slipped, and pushes you back to it.

The design borrows from GTD, time blocking and identity-based habit building. The follow-up is proactive rather than a notification you configured once and learned to ignore.

What you can do with it

  • Write goals and break them into habits and tasks
  • Block time for them on the calendar
  • Let the AI track whether the block happened and flag repeated slippage
  • Share progress with a friend or partner for extra accountability

Who it is for

  • People who know what they want to do and struggle with consistency
  • Anyone for whom standard lists do not stick, including the ADHD-friendly planning audience the site names
  • Individual users rather than teams

What to watch out for

  • It only works if you feed it: tasks, schedules and responses to check-ins are your inputs
  • It is a productivity tool, not clinical or therapeutic support
  • Your schedule and goals sit with a third-party service

Pros & cons

✓ What we like

  • Proactive follow-up instead of passive lists
  • Goals, habits, tasks and calendar together
  • Time blocking with visible slippage
  • Sharing with a friend adds real accountability

! What to watch out for

  • Value depends on maintaining inputs consistently
  • Not a substitute for clinical or therapeutic support

FAQ

How is this different from a normal to-do app?

The AI partner follows up on its own schedule and tracks slippage rather than leaving reminders to you.

Is it a medical or ADHD treatment tool?

No. It is a productivity and habit system that may suit people who struggle with standard planners.

Does it work without ongoing input?

No. You still enter tasks, set schedules and respond to check-ins for the system to have anything to track.
