What Supabase is

Supabase is a PostgreSQL-based development platform. It provides a managed Postgres database with automatically generated APIs, authentication and permission control, file storage, realtime subscriptions and globally deployable edge functions, and it is often described as an open source alternative to Firebase.

It also offers vector capabilities for retrieval, self-hosting and SDKs for several languages.
